Wool Skillet Handle Cozy
Designed specifically with cast iron skillets in mind, these felted wool cozies are an insulating slipper between you and that warm, warm, piping hot skillet handle, while cooking on the stove.
These are a Rachel DB Creative original design. We’ve quilted two luscious layers of thick quilted wool together, and then sewn ‘em up in a sleeve that slides right onto your skillet handle.
Materials
100% felted wool
Care & Common Senses
Wool, while an excellent insulator can still burn. Exercise your common senses especially if cooking with gas i.e. open flames. Burning wool smells like burning hair. If you do get a little singe on the edge no problem, trim off that bottom bit and you’re golden.
Remove cozy from skillet handle before any oven cooking.
Size
Fits multiple lengths of skillet handles.
To use on smaller skillets, trim off the bottom ¼” with household scissors.
Sewn in Dayton, Ohio, USA.
